The experience

What happens at the bar

The bar is simple: a counter, a library of scents to smell through, and one of us mixing in front of you. You do not need to know anything about fragrance to use it. You need to know what you like.

There are three ways in. Find one you already love in the library. Bring something you already wear and have it adjusted to you. Or start from nothing and build it with us, note by note.

Whichever you choose, nothing is poured until you have smelled it on your own skin and told us to go. Then you name it, and we keep it — so the next time you come back, that exact scent is already yours.

It takes under ten minutes to mix and as long as you like to decide, which makes it an easy stop on a trip and a good reason to bring someone with you.

The experience, step by step

Find it. Customize it. Name it. Save it. Refill it.

Five steps. Only the first one needs anything from you.

1. Find it.

   Start where you already are. Impression versions of the fragrances people already wear, Arabic oils, and our own blends — if you have a favourite, there is a good chance it is already in the library. Bring it in and we will match it or build it with you.

2. Customize it.

   Bring something you already wear and we adjust it to you. Or shape it at the bar, note by note, until it is right. It goes on your skin before it goes in a bottle.

3. Name it.

   It is yours, so you name it. That name goes on the label.

4. Save it.

   We keep your formula on file. Come back in a year and we mix that exact scent again without you having to remember what was in it.

5. Refill it.

   Bottle running low? Bring it back and we refill it from the same formula.

Three ways

The same scent, made three ways

Your scent is not locked to one format. Which one suits you depends on how you plan to wear it.

The oil formats are mixed at extrait strength — a higher share of fragrance oil than a typical spray — which is why they wear longer. We still will not quote you an hour figure: skin, heat and how you spend your day all move it. That is why we say longer, and never a number.

Buying one

Four steps, and all of them happen at the bar

There is no catalogue and no checkout. You choose in the room, and you pay for the bottle you approved.

1. Pick your starting point.

   Something you already wear, one of ours, or a blank page.

2. Pick your format and strength.

   Roll-on, body oil or concentrated — the same scent at three intensities. You decide once you have smelled it.

3. Approve it, then pay for it.

   We mix in front of you. Nothing is poured until it is on your skin and you say go.

4. Take the bottle. We keep the formula.

   It goes on file under the name you gave it, so it can be mixed again exactly, adjusted, or refilled.

Pop-ups and events

The bar, on the road

We take the bar out for pop-ups, markets, private parties and events. If you run something and want a scent bar inside it, tell us where and when.

We are also part of the riding calendar — Bike Week, Biketoberfest, club nights — and we re-scent riding gear, so a helmet, a jacket or a pair of gloves can smell like your build instead of last season.

Riders are a big part of who we are. They are not the only part, and nobody needs a bike to sit at the bar.

We would rather be trusted than impressive.

Try it on your skin before you commit to a bottle. Tell us about allergies and sensitivities before we blend — we need to know before it is in the bottle. And if you are pregnant or nursing, or buying for someone who is, ask us before you buy. That is a conversation we would rather have out loud.
